A Giveaway to Celebrate World Card Making Day!

World Card Making Day is celebrated each year on the first Saturday in October.  It started in 2006 as a way to encourage crafters to get a jump on crafting for the holiday season.

What better way to celebrate than with Gnome Décor’s handmade card set giveaway?  We’re celebrating the site’s launch with this freebie.

You can enter to win this set of three cards three different ways.  Choose one, two or all three methods for up to three total entries per person:

1. Leave a comment on THIS blog post and tell me your favorite of the three cards. (You’ll win all three, not just your favorite.)
2. Follow hellognomedecor on Instagram (if you don’t already) and tag a friend in the comments of this Instagram post featuring these cards.  In the same comment tagging your friend, list what kind of cards you’d like to see Gnome Décor carry in the shop when it’s launched (example: Christmas, birthday, or get even more specific – cats, florals, etc.).
3. Subscribe to the Gnome Décor newsletter.  If you’ve already subscribed, you are already entered to win.

I spent World Card Making Day creating this set of three fall critter cards.  I was lucky to get my hands on this stamp and die set about a week ago as it was a limited edition set called Hello Pumpkin designed by Neat and Tangled exclusively for Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember celebration and it sold out quickly.  Last year I missed out on the Neat and Tangled STAMPtember exclusive, which is unfortunate because it was so adorable and featured squirrels, acorns and a pumpkin spice latte.

I really love the mice and tiny caramel apples in this set.  Coloring the images with Copic markers was fun, especially the caramel apples and the stripes on the scarves.  My mom makes the most delicious caramel apples so the card in the center is my favorite because it makes me think of her.
